Keep forgetting to blog, still, nothing of much importance to blog about, dont know why I bother realy. Be different if I was some body, instead of an old nobody, living in a rural backwater.

I did have my moment of fame, when I was introduced to a Royal Princess and shook hands.but that was a long time ago, I doubt she'll remember it . Lol. And once I was on duty at a customs post in Port Said docks, when Prince Phillips ship docked,and he came ashore, I gave him a smart salute, which he returned, but I dont suppose he remembers either, why should he? He did'nt even have a daughter then, and I certainly had no idea then that all those years later I would shake her hand, and have a conversation with her.

Strange really , wonder what she'd have made of it if I'd said " I know your Dad, we served in Egypt together in 1949". Well we did, sort of.
