Crazy lunatics in charge

The cost of the London Olympic Games continues to rise.
"Rigorously costed"at 2.4 £billion pounds, now spiraling to a staggering £9.3 billion. You can add another £10 billion to that figure, and it's sure to rise even more.

Where are these idiots planning to get the extra money ? It's no problem, divert much needed lottery fund money from charitable causes, use monies extorted from highest taxed people in Europe, cut back on spending on essential services, like the NHS, Law and order, a properly equiped Armed Forces. new schools, prisons, protecting our borders from illegal immigrants. And much much more
Keep pensioners payments at starvation level, and ban the prescription of life saving/enhancing drugs to those suffering life threatening diseases.

A " wonderful showcase for Britain "? A great white elephant, another Dome fiasco, only much worse., more like. Just so that a load of athletes can compete in order to gain kudos, for their country, and glory for themselves. and not too particular about how they bend the rules to achieve it.

I seem to rember that the ancient Roman Empire, built stadiums, and staged similar competitions, to divert the peoples attention from the fact that the empire was going down the pan, through similar lunatics in charge.

Now , if they built arenas, and the idiots in charge were made to fight against wild animals, or gladiators, I might possibly be persuaded to cough up my taxes with pleasure. And pay to watch.

If you thought of a number, trebled it, added added the cost of the perks that these idiots pay themselves, multiplied by your Grannies Co-op Divi number, you could'nt be any worse than these nincompoops at guestimating.

A topsy turvy world, run by idiots

What a wonderful country we live in, when an elderly man has been subjected to seven hours of harrassment in his own home, his invalid elderly wife assaulted, recieved no assistance from the Police when called. Their advice? Hide inside until they get fed up and leave. Finaly in desperation the man went out again to confront the youths , was verbaly abused by one , so he gave him a backhander accross the face, richly deserved. This of course brought the Police post haste, some 7 hrs after they were first informed, and what did they do? Arrest the the elderly man, lock him in a cell for 4 hrs, before discharging him with a caution for common assault.

The report does'nt tell us if there were any charges brought against the yobs for terrorising old folk, we are told there were 20 teenagers in this mob, who prevented this couple from leaving their home for 7 hrs, other residents had also called the police, and were advised to stay in doors.

This unfortunately is no isolated incident of this kind, it happens more and more, our Policing is a farce, more like the "Keystone Kops " of the old movies. They are no longer upholders of law and order, or keepers of the Queens peace.

When Sir Robert Peel founded the London Metropolitan Police in 1829 he said this "The primary object of an efficient Police is the prevention of crime, and the detection and apprehension of criminals if crime has been commited. Next, that of the protection of life and property.

To these ends , all efforts of Police must be directed. " As a young probationer constable many moons ago, I had to learn this until I could repeat it parrot fashion, and it's stuck in my brain.

Note it begins with the most important part, the prevention of crime. In order to do that there needs to be a visible Police presence on our streets, in our ghetto estates, and round our sub-urban roads and parks. every where that criminals operate. Instead our Police have been reduced to a responce service, and often a very late responce at that.

But the idiots in charge have always resisted building up a propper professional, well paid Police, relying instead on un paid volounteers, and the latest crackbrained idea of Wardens, with very little powers or training. The few expensively trained, and competant constabulary are snowed under with red tape and paper work, instead of being out there preventing crime and cracking down on criminals.

But if we had a government determined to tackle the problem, who doubled the strength of the Consabulary, where would we put all the arrested criminals? As it is our few prisons are full, crims are released early to go and re-offend, and the judiciery under instruction not to give custodial sentances for more and more types of crime. The criminal fraternity laugh all the way to the bank as they deposit their ill gotten gains, and then go off to collect their welfare benefits.

Hospital Super-bug Clostridium dificile ( C dif )

Report in todays paper on the super bug that almost killed me says it was linked to 2026 deaths last year, nation wide, and the numbers are increasing.

The Kent and Sussex Hosp. at Tunbridge Wells this week has had to close down 2 wards because of the infection, this is part of the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospital Trust, that are responsible for our Maidstone hospital.

My own horrendous experience of this bug, the non stop diarrhoea, the lack of staff to attend to me, resulting in long periods left lying in my own filth, the lack of decent facilities, with overcrowded wards giving very little privacy, insuficient toilets, shared by infected, and un infected, the rapid turn arround of beds, with very little in the way of fumigation, makes me surprised the death rate is'nt even higher.

Unable to combat it in those conditions, they discharged me, and I struggled with it at home for the next eight weeks, almost reduced to skin and bone. I 'm convinced that if I had stayed in hospital I would'nt have made it.

It makes me so mad that this government wastes zillions on crack brained schemes to suck up to minority groups, pays out trillions in benefits to the work shy, the feckless, the anti social, and to so called migrants, flocking into the country from all over the world, yet our N.H.S, once the best in the world is now worse than in many 3rd world countries

Safety mad Britain, and the Claimant Society.

Today I read of a Pantomime Society, who have for years put on a pantomime at the local theatre, raising money for good causes, who have had to ban the throwing of sweets from the stage, a traditional part of pantomime, because of the cost of insuring aginst claims from the public, for possible injury incurred. There is no record of anyone ever being injured by a flying sweet, but you never know.
Where will it all end? How did us kids from the 30s, and the 2nd world war survive? Could we have claimed against a government that night after night allowed mobile anti-aircraft guns to roam the streets of our estate, pumping up exploding shells, that rained shrapnel down on us, and every clear moonlight night lit oilburning stoves at 50 yard intervals along the street, to fill our valley with thick. black, diesel smoke to prevent the German bombers finding the local munitions factory ? How many incidents of lung cancer did that cause , I wonder.
Could I claim for my colon cancer, because of the wartime diet, the lack of fresh fruit, meat , dairy products, the meager allowances of staples etc. it was surely an offence against our human rights to be subject to the things we all cheerfully accepted.

And what about the imposed National Service, where for years after the war, thousands of 18yr olds like me were called up to serve in the armed forces for 2 yrs. with no option, treated like sub humans by power mad NCOs, with primitive basic pay and conditions, and shipped off to all parts of the compass to uphold the fading Empire. With never so much as an official recognition at the end. Was'nt that a breach of our human rights? Human rights were'not very high on the agenda in those days, we would just grin and bare it, and get on with it, no one ever
dreamed of sueing anyone for careers put on hold, loss of earnings, or for being run ragged, and subject to harsh military discipline.

Try that on todays youth, who would definately be improved by it, who need that type of discpiline more than any generation has ever needed it, and there would be an immediate cry of outrage from the wooly liberal nitwits, and lawyers queing up to take on cases of breaches of the Human Rights Laws imposed on us by Europe. Getting fat on legislation designed to weaken this once "Great Britain", because they have been unable to overcome us by any other means in the past. But one must'nt say things like that, it's no longer P>C to promote pride in our achievements, but take every opertunity to apologise for them. And our present day leaders miss no opertunity to do just that.

Long Live Tadition.

At last we seem to be waking up to the realisation that this country is rapidly being stripped of all traditions, pride in our heritage, and our past glory and achievements, by a bunch of ninconpoops, who seem to bend over backwards in the lost cause of trying not to offend minority groups of one kind or another.

Not to mention the interference into every facet of community activity by the Health and Safety watchdogs, causing time honoured and traditioal events to be abandonned or ridiculously over protected, like the insistance that children must wear protective goggles in order to play conkers! Would you believe that?

For fear of offending non Christians, this country with a Christian tradition going back almost 2000 yrs, is trying to remove any outward symbols of Christianity, idiots in office

banning the wearing of a cross. Legislation is being put in place that that will make it an offence to preach the word of God, for it is sure to offend Atheists, Pagans Sodomites etc. so it must be banned. Never mind the tradition of free speech for an Englishman, fought and died for over the years

Local Authorities in various places have replaced the traditional Christmas festival, with "Winterval" and one has decided to have a "Luminos", a Harry Potter Festival instead., and in Glasgow " Shine On".

It's coming to some thing when it takes a Muslim Org. to write to these authorities in protest, deploring the abolition of Christmas in favour of these bogus festivals.While a strange silence comes from the Christian Bishops, many of who dont believe the word of God anyway.

As for me and my family we will continue to love and serve the Lord, and we will be enjoying a traditional Christmas with all the trimmings, and I shall be taking part in a traditional Churches Together carol singing round our village,if thats offensive to any one, they should go and have their heads examined.

Lunatics in charge

At a time when the Govt is denying a range of lifesaving ,or prolonging drugs to law abiding members of the public, drug addicts are recieving courses of heroin, costing £15000 a year.
£6,000000 per year is currently being spent by the NHS in a trial on 400 addicts, while a senior Police Officer has suggested that free heroin should be made available to the UKs 200,000 heroin addicts, at an estimated cost of £3 Billion .

At the same time, despite all expert advise that downgrading cannabis to a classB drug has increased it's use among the young, Ministers are considering downgrading Ecstacy and LSD, both mind-bending , and killer drugs.

What next, free alchohol to alchoholics? Free crack cocaine for prisoners? They already give free con

traception to school children.

But they deny free prescribed life saving drugs to Altzeimer, and cancer sufferers. For the cost of free heroin to sddicts, 6600 Altziemer sufferers could receive alleviating treatment a year.
