Returned from the Sun . morning service at our little village Baptist church.
Enjoyed everything, the hymns, the prayers and the word.
There's a time in the meeting when intercession prayers are said, by one of the members, for the church, the community, the world situation, for authorities and leaders, or whatever, and today I had that pleasure.
I chose to pray for Mission Aviation Fellowship,who work all over the world, flying light aircraft into inaccessable places ,using grass airstrips often cut out of a mountain side, or a jungle.
They've been doing this work since1946, taking the good news of our Lord Jesus, missionarys, doctors, much needed medical supplys , food , water, and are often the only means of reaching isolated communities.
Journeys that would take days by land, can be done in hours, and many sick or injured people can be quickly transported to hospital, saving many lives
