We learn from the media that the NHS is being cut back through lack of funds, care homes for the elderly closing for the same reason; Life prolonging and enhancing drugs denied to sufferers because it is claimed the costof £2-50 per day per patient is not cost effective; Care homes for the elderly closing because Govt red tape and regulations make them too expensive to run, at the same time care in the home is cut to the minimum in order to save money.
Dangerous criminals are turned loose early to reoffend, while others are given non custodial sentences, because of lack of prisons; after cutting our armed forces to the bone, the idiots in charge commit us to war in Iraac, and Afghanistan, where our troops arrive under strength, poorly equiped, lacking up to date weaponry, and air support.
We read that because of Govt handling of the pension scheme, millions will have to work on into old age, and receive a pittance, while those who have paid into company schemes will recieve greatly reduced pensions . At the same time we read of how well our masters have provided for their own retirement, and of the wonderfully generous perks of office they enjoy.
I could go on and on, the fiasco of our immigration policy, the paying out of millions of pounds to illegal immigrants , in benefits and accomodation, the free treatment on the NHS to anyone who flys in for treatment, the cost of the thousand and one quangos set up to talk about this problem and that problem,
The money thrown at teaching our young children how to have safe sex, and assure them that it's ok to be sexualy deviant.
All these things make me hop up and down with rage, as I see this once Great country, Great Britain, being brought down lower each day, by a bunch of self seeking, greedy, immoral, hypocritical incompetetant nincompoops, who would happily approve the waste of billions of pounds so that a few athletes can compete against each other ,and if they pass a drug test, maybe win a gold medal, which will make us all feel good for a day or two.
